Under close supervision, responsible for maintaining proper housekeeping standards consistent with cGMP requirements by cleaning areas and equipment within the Quality Control Laboratory. Prepare solutions, clean glassware, disso baths, house-keeping of the lab, inventory and order reagents and glassware, receive and log samples, balance verification, sample receipts and destruction of released materials. Maintains basic documentation required to accurately track cleaning efforts (incl., logs, tags, labels, etc.).
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent, and minimum of 3-5 years’ experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics or food industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Candidates in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, pushing and pulling, stooping and crouching, climbing and walking, vision to monitor, occasional lifting of equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds. OSHA Medical Evaluation Required. Some exposure to cleaning environment in a regulated industry.
