Under limited direction, assumes primary responsibility across three locations for the entire Sales operation of Anda; both the Retail Pharmacy Division and AndaMeds, within the Distribution division of Watson Pharmaceuticals, Inc.




This position will sit in the Weston, FL office.


  • Carries out managerial/supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.
  • Analyzes and ensures sales goals are met and provides guidance when hurdles associated with sales goals are encountered.
  • Analyzes daily sales metrics and works with Sales Account Directors/Managers, who provide direct feedback to Sales Representatives regarding their book of business, and areas that could be improved, or expanded upon, or tools that could be properly utilized.
  • Translate the sales strategy into action for sales Managers/Directors to increase the company’s customer base and top line sales.
  • Lead the development and application of policies and procedures for both the Sales and Training departments.
  • Coach and develop Managers/Directors and Sales staff
  • Recruit, train and mentor Sales and Training staff in sales process & training initiatives.
  • Drives sales results by measuring sales revenues, leading & motivating the sales floor and ensuring that current SOP's are followed and new SOP's are established according to the needs of the business and through collaboration with the Sales Operations management.
  • Monitors and executes on all sales goal attainment, initiatives and processes from initiation to completion.
  • Participates in the selection and hiring of new Sales Representatives as well as the disciplinary and termination process.
  • Trains and educates Sales Account Directors/Managers at all 3 locations, by providing guidance and opportunities to lead the sales training team to increase and enhance their knowledge and skills to build succession planning within the Sales department.
  • Directs the training department and modifies and develops program/initiatives that enhance sales representative’s skills that serve the corporate strategies.
  • Develops and ensures all KPI’s that drive production on the sales team are monitored and used to drive accountability.
  • Verifies and ensures that standard operating procedures are being followed and develop improved work flows by collaborating with management.
  • Oversees, participates in and approves the interviewing, hiring and training of departmental employees. Conducts performance evaluations for direct reports and provides subordinate managers coaching & assistance in the areas of disciplinary action.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.



  • Bachelor's Degree in related field from an accredited college or university
  • ten (10) or more years directly related and progressively responsible experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Knowledge of:


  • Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory requirements.
  • Business English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
  • Business and personal computer hardware and software applications.
  • Sales principles, practices and applications.
  • Current Company policies and practices, including safety rules and regulations.


Skill in:


  • Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to read, write and understand documentation in English.
  • Establish and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others.
  • Providing excellent customers service with both internal and external customers.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with individuals contacted in the course of work.

  • Experience with public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Managing, directing, and overseeing the work of sales management and immediate direct reports.
  • Planning, recommending and implementing goals, objectives and practices that encourage the highest quality service, product satisfaction, and continued business from the customer.
  • Preparing clear and concise administrative and financial sales forecasting reports.
  • Researching, analyzing and evaluating new sales methods, SOP's and techniques.
