Overview

Summary:

 

This role will report directly to the Director of Global Compliance.  Primary responsibilities to include execution of the Global Compliance Policy, Procedure and Standards strategy; engaging with Regional, Local and Functional Compliance Officers to streamline and standardize the development and management of Global Compliance policies and procedures.  This role works independently with minimal supervision and leverages past experience to establish and ensure adherence to operational controls for the development and storage of Global Compliance policies and procedures.

 

Travel Requirements: Less than 10% Domestic/International

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate document repository to identify opportunities for improvement and implement improvements.
  • Maintain document repository, including check-in/check-out process, version control and metatags.
  • Define, apply and maintain document metadata in repository to enable quick retrieval and reporting of metrics.
  • Facilitate the annual review of Global Compliance policies and procedures by document owners.
  • Manage updates to Global Compliance policies and procedures in Lucidpress.
  • Provide guidane on documentation structure to policy and procedure writers.
  • Conduct periodic audits of documentation to ensure alignment with the Guidelines on Ethical Business Practices and consistent use of terminology.
  • Identify policy gaps for monitored risk areas and work with stakeholders to ensure gap closure.
  • Create governance model for creation, approval, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Continuously assess Global Compliance policy and procedures using industry best practice, input from other functions, and various other methods to identify gaps and remediate.
  • Support the development of new policies and procedures.
  • Assist in policy updates required by identified remediation via audit, monitoring, investigations, etc.
  • Conduct annual review and update the policy on the Prevention of Corruption.
  • Support the periodic review, update and rollout of Teva's Code of Conduct.
  • Update the Guidelines on Ethical Business Practices as needed.
  • Implement a process to ensure that compliance documentation is made available to target audiences.
  • Develop document templates as needed.
  • Establish and maintain a document approval matrix.

Qualifications

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree 

 

Experience Required:

  • 3+ years of related experience in Compliance and/or Document Management
  • 3+ years of experience leading small to medium sized projects in a corporate environment 
  • Prior project coordinator experience
  • 3+ years experience writing policies and procedures
  • 3+ years experience managing global policy and procedure processes

Experience Preferred:

  • 3+ years business experience in a pharmaceutical organization
  • Prior experience and knowledge with the Healthcare and Compliance industry
  • Working within a highly matrixed organization

Specialized Technical Knowledge Needed:

  • Proficient in MS Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project)
  • Proficient in SharePoint
