Provides technical support and assistance in the completion of maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, set-up, training and new installations for all equipment in the Packaging areas. Proficient in all Engineering/Maintenance Tech I duties.


Shift: (6:00 pm – 6:30 am, Friday/Saturday/Sunday) 


  • Maintains documentation for all maintenance activities.
  • Performs emergency and corrective repairs utilizing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic or PLC related skills.
  • Performs preventive maintenance to keep the equipment in good working condition by following SOP’s.
  • Assists with installation or system modifications for all packaging equipment.
  • Takes responsibility to improve skill and techniques.
  • Assists with new equipment PM development.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested and completes them in a timely and detailed manner.
  • Provides training and/or guidance to Maintenance Mechanic I or other entry level positions.
  • Works with vendors on repairs and documents accordingly.
  • Orders parts and supplies for equipment repairs and has a thorough understanding of the stock room application.





Associate’s degree and/or vocational/specialized training required plus two (2) years’ experience as a mechanic or technician, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to provide timely feedback to Management and customers regarding work procedures, schedules, etc.
  • Understands and applies all concepts, methods, and procedures applicable to the job.
  • Possesses and applies the necessary skills and techniques for the job.
  • Demonstrates a detailed understanding of packaging equipment and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and apply written and verbal instruction accurately.
  • Possesses high attention to detail.
  • Follows job procedures and maintains work area in a safe and organized manner.
  • Observes safety rules and is alert with regard to safety of others.
  • Completes work in an appropriate timeframe and works efficiently.
  • Uses downtime constructively.
  • Consistently works within company expectations with regard to attendance and punctuality.
  • Assignments meet required standards.
  • Work is done with a quality-minded approach.
