The purpose of the Psychiatry Sales Specialist is to increase sales revenue and market share in their assigned geographic and therapeutic areas. Successful interaction with healthcare professionals and other designated decision makers is a primary responsibility. This will be done by having thorough product, disease state and market knowledge and sound selling skills. The Sales Specialist will utilize available sales and marketing resources to help educate and influence physicians, and will use their analytical ability to determine targets and will use approved resources and efforts accordingly.


Territory includes but is not limited to:


North:   Nacogdoches, TX

South:   Katy, TX

East:  Nacogdoches, TX

West:  College Station, TX





The Sales Specialist will deliver sales results via calls on targeted physicians in the assigned territory; implement sales strategies, marketing direction and patient support programs to initiate and retain appropriate patients on Teva CNS products


  • Trains and educates physician support staff on the proper use, patient identification, handling and administration of Teva CNS products
  • Assures that healthcare professionals have realistic expectations concerning the use of Teva CNS products with their patients
  • the CNS Sales Specialist is expected to achieve quarterly/yearly sales quota
  • Maintains communication and integrates activities, when appropriate, with Marketing, Professional Education, and Account Management
  • Identifies positive and negative trends within the market and targeted accounts and ensures, through coordinated communication and planning, that appropriate people and financial resources are allocated to reinforce positive trends and address the negative trends.



  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2 plus years pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Must live within 25 miles of the geography  
  • approximately 1 overnights per week



  • Bachelor’s Degree in science or business
  • Specialty pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
