Overview

 

The role will be based at the TEVA HQ in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

 

Position Summary:

In order to deliver on this journey, Teva is looking to build a Europe Rewards team that operates as a true Centre of Expertise – providing best in class total rewards solutions, but also leading the professional development of our Total Rewards professionals and training our HR Team on best reward practice.

 

In this role you will be responsible for developing a shared platform for the Cluster Reward directors to deliver effectively in the countries. You will work with Corporate Total Reward colleagues to provide expert input from an Europe perspective as well as leading the delivery of projects and initiatives in Europe.

 

This role is critical to the transformation – requiring an exceptional blend of expert reward knowledge and the ability to plan and execute delivery of projects through a wider reward Network.

 

Travel Requirements:

 

15% (domestic and international)

 

 

Responsibilities

 

Designated Regional Contact for all Corporate Total Reward experts and Project roles.

 

  • Integrate all activities landing in Europe.
  • Provide a first Impact Assessment from the Inventory
  • Project Management Office to ensure integrated delivery
  • Oversee Year End process end-to-end

Create and Own the Inventory of Reward Items, Systems and Processes - reaching out directly to all Countries in the Cluster to put information in a format that Cluster TR leads can then maintain

  • Create Inventory for Documents or Information:
    • Collective Labour Agreements
    • Fixed Pay - Format of Payscales used with business (Pay Ranges for Global Grades, Local Grades, Local Career Paths, Local Key Functions etc.)
    • Cash Allowances
    • Benefits
    • Incentives
    • Annual Bonus – (both Corporate and Local Profit Sharing arrangements)
    • Equity Compliance - Tax, Legal & Finance contacts
    • Entry (Hiring) Terms
    • Exit (Severance) Terms
    • Health & Wellbeing initiatives
    • Recognition Plans

 

  • Develop system to feedback to the Reward Network on consistency of presentation and storage of information

Reward Data Management

  • Develop analysis system from Year End history.
  • Maintain all contracts and relevant details on Senior Top Management in Europe.
  • Hold regular meetings with the Total Rewards Network in Europe to educate the team on the development of the Reward Inventory and on all aspects of Total Reward Governance

 

Develop a Training Cycle (annual) on all Reward activities to grow the professionalism of the Total Rewards Europe team

  • Quarterly Training delivered to all HR Europe.
  • Work with Corporate Reward experts to up skill the Europe Reward team on the latest professional developments
  • Hold regular meetings with the Europe Reward Network to educate on the Inventory and on all Total Rewards Governance aspects.

 

Best Practice Delivery

 

  • Benefits - build an end to end Destination Model from Benefits Communication through Delivery and Cost to Employee Engagement
    • Review actual vs. Destination Model Country by Country in the preparation for C&B review.
    • Integrate Global Broker activities into the Europe Projects
    • Integrate H&W activities into the Europe Projects
    • Integrate TRS/Comms activities into the Europe Projects
    • Integrate Recognition activities into the Europe Projects
  • Compensation - review all Comp elements in all countries vs. HR-IS systems and processes to ensure clarity of Standards and availability of Analytic information.
    • Review actual vs. Destination Model Country by Country in the preparation for C&B review.
    • Lead interaction with Corporate TR on Year End
    • Lead interaction with HRO&S on Year End
    • Integrate TRS/Comms activities into the Europe Projects
  • Equity - review Legal, Tax, Finance and HRO&S framework in which Equity is delivered in each country.
  • Exec Comp - maintain all details required by Exec Comp team (agree format, materials, in-scope in advance).

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

 

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required, an advanced degree would be a benefit.
  • Exposure to or aptitude for HR in a very matrixed organisational structure / multinational organisation
  • Experience in or aptitude for operating systems based projects that have a significant people impact and/or require a combination of technical competence and communication/influencing skills
  • Will have led cross-country Benefits and Compensation projects – such as Total Rewards Systems implementation in a number of countries.
  • Will have developed HR communications materials on Reward matters – and led the deployment of Reward systems or initiatives.
  • Excellent relationship building skills, communication skills and team based project experience.
  • A clear understanding of the end to end benefits lifecycle process is required.
  • Large corporate environment experience coupled with HR consulting experience is preferred.  
  • Knowledge of and experience of working within the Pharma sector would be a significant advantage, but not required
  • You will be experienced in working with external Rewards Benchmarking consultants – such as Towers Watson – and using their tools and insights.
  • You will also be experienced in working with data from a global HR Information System such as Success Factors.

 

SKILLS:

  • Project and Change management
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Very IT literate (MS Excel, Access, Power-point and some programming language such as VBA) and the ability to lead the development of others in this area.
  • Self-directed; ability to work in a fast paced, changing, ambiguous environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong vendor manager skills related to reward activities such as consulting firms and benefits brokers re required.
  • Fluent in English, another European language is a plus
  • Must be able to manage competing demands, while being extremely adaptable and flexible
  • Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities
  • Innovative and passionate about reward, with a structured attitude to implement ideas through to completion
  • Is able to prioritize independently and handle various projects at the same time.
