Overview

 

Purpose of the position:

Ensures the business has the right skills and capabilities to deliver on the transformation and Teva Operating System (TOS) and provides sustainable OPEX capability building solutions for TGO, Commercial and R&D employees

Position can be based in North Wales PA, Parsippany NJ or other TEVA locations.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

OPEX Academy and OPEX School

  • Participate in the defining and implementation of overall training curriculum for the global and local OPEX teams / experts, management teams, line management and shop floor employees in TGO, Commercial and R&D divisions
  • Contribute to the deployment of OPEX Academy and OPEX School through materials development and teaching TGO, Commercial and R&D employees to build their capabilities

 

Teva Operating System

  • Work with global and local OPEX teams / experts to continuously improve TOS standards based on internal feedback from transformation successes, external benchmarking / research, internal and external best practices
  • Contribute to the new standards development e.g. Commercial Excellence, R&D Excellence, E2E and ensure link and consistency to TOS approach
  • Provide knowledge and expertise on OPEX methodology
  • Provide guidance on the integration of the operating system standards into the organizations

Transformation Methodology

  • Define and enforce best practice guidelines for OPEX transformation in all areas of Operational Excellence: Management Infrastructure, Operating System and Mindset and Behaviours & Capability Building
  • Support delivery of OPEX transformation plan through facilitation / co-facilitation of key workshops and capability building activities

Knowledge Management

  • Support knowledge capturing and sharing process through Communities of Practice, OPEX Academy and OPEX School
  • Provide guidance and support to organizations organizing OPEX masterclasses and “best of best” workshops

Coaching 

  • Provide consultancy and coaching to senior leaders, OPEX Professionals, HR Experts and Change Agents in the capability building and knowledge management area  

LOCATION AND MOBILITY

The position will be based in our regions and preferably attached to our sites. Extensive travel is required on a weekly basis (80% average travel)

Qualifications

Background:

  • Master’s in Business, Science or Engineering with excellent academic track record
  • Extensively trained in Lean with experience in Operational Excellence transformation and process improvement projects
  • a minimum of 5 years experience in an OPEX role, preferable in the Commercial and/or the R&D area
  • Project management experience and excellent time management skills
  • Experience in the design of training programs and teaching
  • Practice in the delivery of training sessions in the remote mode with application of new technology e.g. teleconference, videoconference, Live Meeting, Adobe Connect, Live Stream
  • Excellent knowledge in MS Office
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
